Queen Mary being greeted outside Cheltenham YMCA by Chairman, Arthur Dye. On the far left is YMCA President, Percy Smith and in the middle is the Mayor, Wilfred Waite. A crowd of well-wishers crowd the steps while several more look through the windows.

This picture was taken on 5th August 1942 and shows Queen Mary outside Cheltenham YMCA's premises on the Promenade which were later sold to the Council when they relocated in 1955. Smiling at the Queen is Chairman, Arthur Dye while on the left is President, Percy Smith. The Mayor is Wilfred Waite.
